"Who is welcome at Sierra Pines?" The answer would be, "ALL are welcome!" Our doors are open to everyone no matter your age, stage or pronouns. We are a family of believers who strive to follow Jesus' teachings and seek to walk in His footsteps as we live in this community. At Sierra Pines, you will be warmly welcomed!
At Sierra Pines United Methodist Church, our mission is to create a welcoming and inclusive community where all are welcome to experience the transformative power of faith. We strive to foster spiritual growth, promote social justice, and make a positive impact in our community and the world. We are a reconciling congregation.
We offer a variety of worship services designed to meet the needs of our diverse community. From contemporary worship services to contemplative Taize style worship, we provide opportunities for individuals to connect with their spirituality in a way that feels authentic and meaningful.
We believe in the importance of giving back to our community and the world. That's why we support a number of local organizations like Hospitality House and Interfaith Food Ministry (IFM) and international organizations like the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) to promote social justice, alleviate poverty, and protect the environment. Our campus also supports AA and Scouts
Our Sierra Pines United Methodist Church is led by a dedicated pastor who is committed to serving the needs of our congregation and the wider community.
Our Sunday Worship Service starts at 10:00am followed by fellowship. We are located in South Nevada County behind Bear River High School across from Lake of the Pines
